Rain x Sky

The task was to create a design that reflects the client's love of monochrome interiors, the desire to experience their home as a “meditation cave” without avoiding monotony. Instead, the desire is to create a sense of overcast skies.

A multilayered interior was created, full of textures and designed to offer an insight into the client's passion for monochrome interiors.
The apartment was conceived as a refuge for the landlady: a space of silence and privacy.

The entire apartment is the private area of the owner of the apartment. The planning solution is based on the ideas of “fluidity” and connected spaces. This is achieved by combining the living room and the kitchen, as well as slider doors, which, when opened, ensure the permeability of the rooms. In the living room there is a bar and a sofa group, the kitchen is a passageway area.

The project showcases a combination of neutral and brutal materials, which are softened by color accents of blue hues and soft furniture shapes. Although the plan structure is simple, the use of recognized materials marble, wood, metal.

Patinated finishes make the interior more sophisticated and tactile. The colors are calm, based on the tonal variations of stone, metal and wood used in each room.

In the open-plan kitchen-living room, the sofa group with its emphasis on curves and color acquires a sculptural character and becomes the central element of the space, while the bar table nuancedly repeats the flowing forms.  The kitchen is a pass-through zone, and the dining group is separated by a functional block.

The bedroom, dressing room and bathroom form a common area, where everything necessary to take care of sleep and care of appearance is placed.
